Experience
Ms. Swearingen grew up in Estes Park, Colorado. Prior to entering law school in 2003 she worked for seven years in administration for the faculty governance organization at the University of Colorado in Boulder, starting as an administrative assistant and working her way up to an administrative position.
Ms. Swearingen is also qualified as an Assistant Instructor for Defense Awareness Response Training (DART), a Boulder non-profit organization dedicated to teaching safety awareness and violence prevention techniques.
