The Cohen Law Group is a unique law firm based in Boulder, Colorado. We are unique because we are a Transaction / Litigation law firm. We believe the distinction between litigation and transactional work, made at many firms, is often artificial. Experienced contract law attorneys based in Boulder, we know that contract litigation is almost always the result of poor drafting, an insufficient investigation, an incomplete negotiation or some combination of those. Often the dispute could have been avoided had the parties realized the importance of proper drafting of the contract and any related legal documents.

While we emphasize these areas this is not all we do. As new clients come to us we learn their needs and develop new niches. For example, because we represent a company that distributes rock crushers and screening equipment we have gained expertise in the sand and gravel industry and the concrete industry. Because we represent a fire district and an ambulance service we know the special legal issues they face.
Because of his military background, Mark Cohen has experience in many facets of military law, including court martial defense, administrative discharges, correction of military records, security clearance actions, ROTC scholarship issues, and many other administrative matters. He has served as a military law consultant to MSNBC and other local media organizations.
