Colorado Military Lawyers

Our military law practice is limited to correction of military records, security clearance issues, and similar adminsitrative matters.  We do not represent service members at courts martial, and we do not represent veterans in cases pertaining to veterans benefits.
Mark Cohen served as an active duty Air Force JAG for four years and served in the USAF reserve after that. In 1986, the American Bar Association named him the Outstanding Young Military Service Lawyer.  He wrote an article in the American Jurisprudence Proof of Facts series titled Entitlement to a Stay or Default Judgment Under the Soldiers and Sailors Civil Relief Act.  (Now called the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act).  He is admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces and the US Court of Veterans appeals, though he no longer practices in those courts.
We advise and represent service members (and sometimes their families) in these matters:
  • Correction of Military Records (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard)
  • Administrative Actions
  • Evaluation Review Boards
  • Discharge Review Boards
  • Security Clearance Issues
  • Servicemembers Civil Relief Act
  • ROTC Scholarship Disputes
  • Federal Tort Claims Act
  • Military Tort Claims Act
